For the last two days the commute has been ugly. On Monday there were emergency vehicles zipping by with their flashing lights but I never saw anything — no shards of white and orange plastic, leaked car fluids or skidmarks — nothing. Yesterday was worse. It took one hour to get there. I’m dreading getting in the car today and I don’t see how putting it off is going to help.
