No Fan of Darthlink

My home computer is acting incompetent. My ISP is completely incompetent. I couldn’t get email all day yesterday because of some kind of timeout error. This is after a month of spotty service. Why would Darthlink come along and buy my happy local ISP and then proceed to eliminate everything remotely special about their service and provide service so lame that it has completely alienated the entire customer base? I don’t like them, but how many people really like their ISP?
